Tamil Puthalvan Scheme
Under the Tamil Puthalvan Scheme, all students who studied in Government and Government Aided Tamil Medium Schools from Class 6 to Class 12 will receive a financial assistance of Rs. 1,000/- per month directly into their bank accounts until they complete their undergraduate degree without interruption.
This amount is additional to any other scholarship or benefit they are receiving.

தமிழ் புதல்வன் திட்டத்தின் கீழ், அரசு மற்றும் அரசு உதவி பெறும் தமிழ் வழி பள்ளிகளில் 6 ஆம் வகுப்பு முதல் 12 ஆம் வகுப்பு வரை கல்வி பயின்ற அனைத்து மாணவர்களுக்கும், இளங்கலைப் பட்டப்படிப்பை தடையின்றி முடிக்கும் வரை மாதந்தோறும் ரூ.1,000/- அவர்களது வங்கிக் கணக்கில் நேரடியாக செலுத்தப்படும்.
இத்தொகை அவர்கள் பெறும் மற்ற உதவித்தொகைகளுக்கு மேலாக வழங்கப்படும்.
